Scheduled Events for the Month of May, 2008

National Day of Prayer Walk on May 1, 2008.  Our children will walk around the building and pray.  Parents are welcome to join us!

Free Lunch Fridays are scheduled every friday in May.  Staff is providing soup/sandwich days for the children to say thank you to parents for all you do.

On Memorial Day, May 26, 2008 Abba's House will be closed to observe this holday.

Family Fun Fiesta at Lannie's House (Our Young Toddler Teacher) on Saturday, May 31, 2008. Parents, staff, (partners invited) and children are gathering together at 4:00 p.m. for an evening of hot dogs cooked on the open fire, games and fellowship.

May's Unit

"Let Your Imagination Fly"

Shapes, shadows and flying creatures such as clouds, butterflies, bees and flowers are some of God's creations that will help kick off our imaginations.  Our bible story theme is "Jesus Feeds the Multitude."  This story will help the children understand not only that Jesus loves them and is concerned with meeting their needs, but also that even as a child, they can touch lives for Jesus.  Jesus will meet our daily needs--physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually.  What a comfort for us who know Him as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
