Week One:
The Bottom Line: Keep doing what you should do even if its hard.
The Bible Story: Finishing right: Paul and his sufferings (2 Corinthians 11:23b-27; Acts 20:24) Even after Paul believed in Jesus, his life was very difficult. He was in prisons, beaten and persecuted. But Paul knew what he was supposed to do - tell everybody about Jesus. It was probably very hard for Paul to do what he was supposed to do, but he wanted to live out the plan that God had for him. Even if it's hard, we should always keep doing what we should do!
This Week: Cheyanne and Rachel are determined to not drop the ball in this game! |

Week Two:
The Bottom Line: Keep doing what God says even if others don't.
The Bible Story: Hard Work: Noah and the Flood (Genesis 6:6-7:7) Noah was chosen by God to build an arc for protection from the flood. Everyone thought he was crazy and no one helped him. But later, much later, a huge flood came and his obedience to God saved himself and his family! No matter what, we should keep doing what God says even if other's don't.
This Week: Zac got baptised! |

Week Three:
The Bottom Line: Keep doing what God says because He is God.
The Bible Story: Leaving Egypt: The Plagues (Exodus 5:1-2; 6:1-9; 7:14-24, 8-11; 12:21-23, 29-42) When Moses told the Pharoah to allow the Israelites to leave Egypt, Pharoah wouldn't because he didn't know 'Who is God?' and 'Why should I obey Him?'. Pharaoh wouldn't listen to Moses or God, and the Egyptians were harmed by a series of plagues. To be on the winning side of anything, we need to keep doing what God says simply because He is God, even though we might not understand why right away.
This Week: Olivia pops a balloon to get a piece of the Bible verse for her team! |

Week Four:
The Bottom Line: Keep doing what you should so you don't miss something really good.
The Bible Story: Desert Blues: 40 Years in the Wilderness (Numbers 14:1-39) After finally being freed from Egypt and wandering in the wildreness for 40 years, the Israelites finally made it to the Promised Land - Canaan. They sent spies to check on the land. Most of them said that the people were too big, and that the Israelites would never be able to beat them. But two of them had faith : they encouraged the people to charge forward and take the land becase God promised it to them and they trusted Him. Like them, we should keep doing what we should do so we don't miss something really good!.
This Week: The boys team is determined to guess the answer in this determination game before the girls do! |
